So here are ten things I've learned creeping up to my thirties. I'm sure there are more but if I spend too much time blogging it will become a chore! Therefore I've decided to keep it short and sweet:)
1. Garlic is best fresh! (sometimes I play 'Chef'!)
2. Somethings really are better left unsaid, but some things must be spoken.
(Does it sound like you are reading a fortunes cookie? I did not steal that from a fortune cookie! I repeat: I did Not steal that from a fortune cookie!lol)
3. Human 'love' will always fall short, and Never meet ALL my needs (Thank you Jesus that
Yours does!)
4. Confidence comes from knowing WHO you are, and after this many years, I know myself
better and longer than I ever have, so I have more of that 'Confidence' stuff than ever
before:)
5. Seasons of 'waiting' are great learning-grounds from God. In this moment, it seems like
everything in my life is in a season of 'waiting'. (I could make a whole separate blog
about what you learn while 'waiting'!)
6. Thinking negatively about yourself is NOT humility! Each one of us is Gods' Masterpiece.
Don't say or think negatively about Gods Masterpiece( that's you!).
7. It would be wonderful if all the world were gentle, soft hearted, and kind to all, but
that's not our reality, so toughen up, put your armor on and choose your battles wisely!
8. The fear of human opinion disables, trusting in God protects you from that!(The Message
Bible Pr.29:25) in other words: Stop worrying about what PEOPLE think! The fault-finders
will always be there, just care about what God thinks( and He thinks your a Masterpiece:))
9.Children grow way too fast, so if your son sleeps in your bed till he's three or four years
old, treasure every second!, soon he'll be fifteen and those 'snuggy' mornings will be long
gone!
10. God really does work every thing together for our good! Every trial and tribulation that
comes my way brings me to a deeper understanding of His love and grace, and that is
definitely a 'good' thing:) I have learned to thank Him for the sunshine, and the rain:)
Well, that's it, my first blog:) I think everyone has something to teach and something to
learn. I hope that you have been encouraged and hopefully Ill be encouraged by you someday:) Thanks for reading! Tammy
